The challenge for CE in designing the UVA Community Credit Union’s branches in Fluvanna and Louisa Counties was to integrate their civil engineering designs into existing developments that lacked an existing master plan. CE’s planning and design developed the necessary utilities and infrastructure needed to support the sites, including storm water management using bio-filters designed to treat and retain storm water at the bank sites. This storm water retention feature was integrated into the landscape architecture of the site.
